Candidate Endorsements

These candidates have received the endorsement of HOME PAC. The endorsements are based on our team’s evaluation of the candidates responses to a comprehensive questionnaire, their campaign’s viability, and the candidates understanding and commitment to tackling homelessness and housing affordability in Portland. Additionally, we used the Oregon Futures Lab Switchboard questionnaire information in our decision-making process.
 
We believe that these candidates have the experience, skills and the commitment to collaboration with jurisdictional and community stakeholders, including nonprofit housing and social service providers, which are essential to solving the housing crisis in our community. 
 
Housing is a complex difficult issue communities across the country are facing and requires strong leaders who are committed to finding data driven long term solutions as well as immediate short term strategies.
